Some Thoughts on a Hot Sunny Day

The same question has been floating on my mind for the past couple of days. Can someone not knowing how to strip the vein out of a celery stalk? I thought this is common sense until I realized there is actually someone out there who would use a peeler to scrape off the surface of the celery and thought that's the way to strip off the vein. Hmm...this person must be very lucky not having to worry about anything in the kitchen.

wow, using a peeler to do the job. What a great idea, why I did not think of that. Now I can spend less time in the kitchen and more time watching DVD. What a smart idea....

What? You need to strip off the veins of a celery stalk? ;)

I'm not into food science, so I can't go into nutrition facts. Celery veins are edible, but they're too tough to eat. Try chewing a stalk of celery without removing the veins, you might end up spitting some "leftovers" on your plate :P
People who like to cook or picky about eating would remove them.
